Car auction group Aston Barclay has made two new appointments as it continues to build momentum within the UK auction industry.

David Cunniffe has joined Aston Barclay as operations manager at Chelmsford, while Ryan Heard has taken on the role as centre manager at Westbury.

Both bring strong operational experience to the group; Heard from his time with Honda Logistics and TDG, and Cunniffe from spells with Nationwide Autocentres and Kwik Fit.

“We are continuing to grow our talent base to match our business growth across the group to meet our aim of becoming the leading solutions provider in the remarketing sector,” explained Tim Hudson, managing director of the Aston Barclay Group.

“Combined with our capital investment in facilities at both Chelmsford and Prees Heath the group is reinforcing itself as one of the leading independent auction groups in the UK,” he added.
