Easi-Drive has been appointed by Essex-based BMW and MINI dealer Fairfield, to provide an accident management service for its customers.

The dealer, based in Leigh-on-Sea, consists of a BMW and MINI dealership and a BMW/MINI manufacturer approved bodyshop and has signed a two-year exclusive contract with Easi-Drive.

On the deal, Fairfield bodyshop manager, Lee Bailey said: “Providing a high quality accident management service is key to our sales; working with people whom we trust to deliver a quality, first class service to our customers.

“We were impressed with Easi-Drive’s track record and are confident they will deliver excellent levels of service.”

Easi-Drive will provide Fairfield with an own-brand accident management service, supplying its customers who have been involved in non-fault accidents a replacement BMW or Mini.

On the new relationship, a delighted Zac Mitcheson, Easi-Drive’s head of sales said: “It is great news from both ourselves and Fairfield and we are looking forward to working with the team.”

Easi-Drive is to carry out in-house training with the dealer’s 40 customer-facing employees, and as part of its on-going commitment to the business, will be making monthly audit visits to the dealership to deliver updates and management information.

Easi-Drive believes all dealerships should consider offering accident management services in-house. Mitcheson added: “In today’s economic climate nurturing client relationships is key. Offering a credible accident management service increases the opportunity for dealers to re-engage with customers at a later date, better manage repair costs, make future sales of cars and parts and enhance brand loyalty.”
