Trimble MRM makes two senior appointments.

Telematics provider Trimble has made two new appointments within its management team.

Rory Maher is joining as sales director for Fleet Solutions in the EMEA region, replacing Nick Mitchell who is now serving as the global general manager for Field Service.

Maher said: "Trimble has an excellent reputation within the industry for robust, innovative fleet solutions supported by a global presence. I am eager and excited to represent Trimble across the EMEA region."
Maher has a background in telematics and Canbus diagnostics and has over 20 years’ experience in a variety of technology industries including senior sales positions with Vodafone and Caudwell Group.

Mitchell said: "I’ve been with Trimble for the past six years and I have seen the company grow as it continues to meet the needs of the fleet and field service industries."

Trimble introduced its GeoManager Work Management system earlier this year. It provides on-demand visibility into vehicle and mobile worker utilisation, resulting in better customer service, increased productivity and reduced overall operating costs.

Mitchell added: "The launch of Work Management reflects Trimble’s commitment to product innovation; providing the field service industry with a complete picture of its fleet’s productivity.

"Trimble has increased its focus on the field service industry globally and I look forward to supporting this initiative in my new role with the company."
