Spectrum, one of the leading providers of specialist care services for people with autistic spectrum disorders based in Penryn, Cornwall, is continuing its long-standing relationship with Pendragon Contracts with a replacement order for 19 Renault vehicles.

Transport is an essential part of Spectrum’s care service provision, and the new vehicles will ensure it continues to integrate successfully with the community on many levels. Renault was chosen for its reliability.

Mary Simpson, CEO of Spectrum, said: “The company has always been interested in our work supporting people with autistic spectrum disorders and completely understands our needs.

“The vehicles allow the people we care for to attend college, go to work placements and enjoy everyday activities and sports. These are all important factors in realising meaningful and productive lives.

“The continuity of contact with Pendragon Contracts’ sales representative Nancy Pavey has been very reassuring and beneficial to our working relationship.”

Anton Underhill, vehicle co-ordinator for Spectrum, added: “The support provided by the office based team at Pendragon Contracts is absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them.”

John Given, sales director of Pendragon Contracts, concluded: “It’s vitally important for our sales team to get under the skin and fully understand our clients’ requirements.

“When transport is as critical to an organisation as it is for Spectrum in enabling it to undertake much-needed community support, then personal service and reliability become even more critical.”
