Electric vehicle drivers visiting Cenex Low Carbon Vehicle 2012 at the Millbrook Proving Ground from September 5-6, will be able to recharge their vehicles whilst they visit the show, courtesy of Chargemaster and Source East, the Government Plugged in Place scheme covering the East of England.

Chargemaster will be installing rapid (30minute) and four Source East standard charging bays in a specially allocated visitors charging centre at the end of the mile long straight at Millbrook where all visitors park when they arrive at the event.

Chargemaster will be managing a concierge service for electric vehicle owners allowing them to simply leave their car at the charging centre when they arrive and to be able to collect their car fully charged when they are ready to go home.

Representatives from more than 750 companies are expected to visit this year’s LCV event, including the main EV manufacturers, infrastructure providers like Chargemaster and many fleet operators who are early adopters of the vehicles.

CenexLCV2012 is held in partnership with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, the Technology Strategy Board, UK Trade and Investment, the SMMT, Automotive Council and the Office for Low Emissions Vehicles.
