Fleet News holds two inductions ceremonies a year for the Fleet News Hall of Fame.

The award recognises and honours those people that have made an outstanding contribution to the fleet sector during their career.

At the Fleet News Awards in March we put the spotlight on fleet managers that have made a significant contribution to this industry.

At the FN50 we focus on people from manufacturers, leasing companies and other fleet suppliers.

Entering the Hall of Fame tonight is a two-time Fleet News Award winner, and someone who moved from being a fleet manager to join the leasing industry a few years ago.

This person has dedicated their working career to the fleet sector, not least in the role they play within ACFO, the industry’s trade association.

Throughout their career they have been an early adopter of new initiatives, such as joining the Energy Saving Trust Motorvate scheme or signing up to the Driving for Better Business road safety campaign.

Fleet managers describe our new hall of famer as “sincere, reliable and an excellent fountain of knowledge”.

He is well versed in all aspects of vehicles and vehicle management. If he doesn't know it, then no-one needs to.

And he works in the true spirit of business partnership and provides real value to his organisation, to customers and to extended supplier relationships.

Into the Fleet News Hall of Fame goes ACFO Midlands secretary and strategic fleet consultant at Alphabet Nigel Trotman.
