A new vehicle rental service is promising to save thousands of pounds – and hours of wasted time – for businesses across the UK with a new online service.

Fownd Vehicle Rental believes it can generate huge financial and time benefits for companies in need of a short term vehicles, through its online hub of up to 400,000 cars and vans.

On average, a company renting 10 vehicles a year using an alternative service will save around £2,950 along with two working days not spent searching websites, making multiple calls or having to find their way to collect vehicles, suggests Fownd.

The business-to-business offering utilises up to 45 supply relationships at the click of a mouse with the aim of providing greater choice, flexibility and overall savings.

The company has been established for four years, but is now in a position to offer ready-to-rent solutions through its new online offering.

Christopher Dean, managing director of Fownd and a former fleet manager with Tarmac, said that his business model was a simple one, but extraordinarily effective in driving down costs during a critical period of economic uncertainty.

He said: “Businesses in all walks of life deserve respect and they shouldn’t be excluded because they only have an occasional vehicle hire requirement.

“We provide a bespoke level of service for fleets of all sizes and now offer a great alternative to the retail market for SME’s looking for a hassle free pay-and-go service.

“This combined with all the business benefits such as delivery, collection and fixed UK wide rate, make this an ideal service to save your business time and money.”

Fownd, based in Solihull, Birmingham, has achieved growth of 806% in its first two years of trading.
