Commercial vehicle dealer group, Guest Truck and Van, has adopted the 1link Service Network service and maintenance e-commerce platform.

The company – which operates 13 Iveco and Fiat Professional dealerships under the Guest and Sherwood brands across the Midlands and East Anglia – has made the move following the recent enhancement of the platform to handle vehicles above 3.5 tonnes.

Keith Link, group service director at Guest, said: “E-commerce allows our customers and ourselves to process service and maintenance much more quickly, accurately and economically.

“1link Service Network is already used by many of our customers and, now that it has been enhanced for the heavier end of the commercial vehicle sector, its adoption makes good commercial sense.”

1link Service Network is now in use by fleets totalling more than two and a half million vehicles to process service and maintenance sourcing from franchise dealers, independent garages and fast fits.

The enhanced version answers a longstanding demand for the platform to be enhanced for LCV, truck and plant use, and a dedicated team at Epyx worked for more than twelve months on the project with the help of with LGV fleet operators and dealers.

David Wallace, sales and business development director at Epyx, added: “Penetration of 1link Service Network into the large commercial vehicle sector has been increasing rapidly and we are pleased to welcome Guest as a major service provider.

“The enhanced version of the platform provides the means for LGV service providers and fleet operators to bring all the key benefits of e-commerce to their service and maintenance processing.”
