Contract hire and salary sacrifice specialist Tusker has moved into new, high-tech offices capable of meeting the company’s expansion needs.

The brand new offices are at Croxley Green Business Park on a unique 70-acre estate with more than 50 businesses and 2,500 employees, and provide three times the area of Tusker’s previous premises.

Since the start of the year, the salary sacrifice market leader has increased employee numbers by more than 40% as it continues to grow in line with ambitious expansion targets.

Tusker spent considerable time and investment in adapting the new offices to fit its brand image and corporate ethos and philosophy, completely rearranging the layout and creating new working spaces and meeting rooms, all finished in the company’s corporate colours.

Special attention was paid to the IT and communications rooms to ensure they met the requirements of the company’s latest systems, including its award-winning Fleetdesk fleet management solution.

At the same time, special break-out areas and an in-office kitchen were designed to provide staff with a relaxed and comfortable working environment.

The new energy-efficient and eco-friendly offices also provide access to staff facilities including a fully-equipped gym, café, crèche, and hair salon, while employees can enjoy open spaces, lakes and landscaped gardens.

Environmental considerations were key in deciding the location as Tusker was keen to ensure that its expansion was achieved with minimal impact on the environment.

Conservation initiatives were also of fundamental importance and the new offices have a target of zero waste and 100% recycling of materials, plus on-site food composting, cardboard bailing and rainwater harvesting.

To restrict car usage, there is a car sharing scheme across the estate and bikes are available for staff trips into the centre of Watford, along with free bus travel for all employees.

CEO David Hosking said: “As the company continues to expand, we needed new offices that not only gave us the space we require to move the business forward, but that also reflected our forward-thinking and customer-focused approach.

“As a carbon-neutral company, our commitment to the environment remains vital and we had to bear this in mind in making such a significant move for the company. Croxley Green meets all our needs for now and going forward.”
