Payment solutions provider VeriFone has introduced a salary sacrifice car scheme for it 700-plus employees.

The ‘Simplydriveit’ scheme, run by Pendragon Contracts, will also support drivers receiving a cash allowance in lieu of a company vehicle.

The structured launch programme, with driver roadshows at three locations across the UK, was carried out by Pendragon specialists who were on-hand at each  of Verifone’s UK locations to provide face-to-face advice on car selection, scheme benefits and to demonstrate the online quotation tool.

The salary sacrifice scheme provides a vehicle choice capped by CO2 emissions and P11d values, providing a wide range of makes and models to attract employees to select lower-emission cars and maximise their savings.

Employees can access the scheme online via a driver information centre which showcases the car selection and provides fully inclusive quotations, including comprehensive insurance, as well as offering support from an office-based team.

Liz Stringer, HR manager UK and Ireland for VeriFone, said: “We chose Pendragon Contracts to implement our salary sacrifice scheme because of the Group’s long-standing motor retail heritage. This, together with the fully tailored launch programme, gave us the confidence to know our employees would be fully informed about the scheme's benefits.”

John Given, sales and marketing director for Pendragon Contracts, said: “We are delighted that VeriFone has chosen our salary sacrifice scheme.  Being part of the UK's largest dealer group means we can provide great deals, together with the expertise and knowledge to make sure drivers receive a first rate experience.”
