Bristol-based Masters Garage picked up ‘Garage of the Year’ at ARI’s Masterserve Awards.

The awards, which were launched in 2010, are judged on the performance of ARI’s UK-accredited garages over the previous 12 months, with a particular focus on customer service, quality, reliability and professionalism.

Incorporating six categories, the awards champion the efforts of Masterserve members that strive to go the extra mile, invest in apprenticeship schemes, provide great levels of customer satisfaction and consistently high quality servicing.

As well as winning the 'Garage of the Year' accolade, Bristol-based Masters Garage was recognised for its 25 years’ service.

Luke Shepherd from Angus MacKinnon in Uttoxeter was crowned 'Apprentice of the Year' in recognition of his passion for the industry and commitment to developing as a skilled panel beater.

A total of five garages were awarded the 'Long Service' Award, as a result of being part of ARI’s network for more than 10 years, including John Roberts Services in Wrexham, which has been a member since 1994.

Silverwing Garage in Croydon scooped the 'Going the Extra Mile' Award following 12 months of superior customer service, after previously winning 'Apprentice of the Year' in 2013.

Peter Janes, network development manager at ARI, said: “Fantastic customer service is integral to our management offer and it’s vital that we’re able to guarantee a consistent level of repair and maintenance service to all of our customers no matter where they are.

“These awards are a great opportunity to recognise and reward those garages that help us make that offer a reality by constantly going the extra mile for our customers.”
