Telematics-based fleet management company Airmax achieves ISO hat trick

UK-based fleet management and telematics company Airmax Remote has achieved its ‘third in a row’ ISO accreditation within a 16 months.

The three accreditations, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, ISO 27001 Information Security and Management and ISO 9001 Quality Management, are viewed as an essential part of the company restructuring and its continuous improvement program, which is necessitated by an upsurge in orders from the commercial and ‘blue light’ sectors.

The auditing authority said: “Airmax have demonstrated effective conformance with the standard through appropriate adoption of relevant procedures and controls.”

Airmax business development director Richard Perham (pictured) said: “With employee growth of nearly 15% this year, processes and procedures are critical.

“Seeking ISO accreditation was an integral part of our longer-term strategy and the security processes which protect their data is regarded as an absolute must by the large fleets we now have coming on board as customers.”
