Škoda has signed an agreement to supply 110 Octavia estates to Trinity Fire & Security Systems.

The company will take delivery of the first 40 Octavia models during the next two months, with a further 70 vehicles joining the fleet before the end of this year.

The Octavia Estate was chosen for its versatility and will be used nationwide by the company’s engineers to transport vital equipment across a range of customer sites, including commercial and banking companies, MoD, NHS, local government, shopping centres and science parks.

Paul Clayton, finance director for Trinity Fire & Security Systems, said: “Trinity has always prided itself on having a cost-effective and efficient fleet.

"We were impressed by the Škoda Octavia Estate’s reliability, quality and class-leading space, combined with its low emissions and efficient engine.

“We have 110 engineers nationwide who are committed to delivering high standard engineering solutions, so it is essential that our fleet cars are practical whilst offering excellent value for money and fuel efficiency. That’s why Škoda made perfect sense for us.”

Jonathan Harris, area fleet manager South West and South Wales, said: “We are delighted to build a relationship with Trinity Fire & Security Systems. This latest agreement is a prime example of our growing success in the fleet sector, having expanded our market share to 2.9% last year."
