The new Renault Twingo will be priced from £9,495 when it goes on sale in September.

There are three versions of All-New Twingo – Expression, Play and Dynamique, powered by a choice of two engines – the new 1.0-litre 70 hp SCe three-cylinder normally aspirated engine and a Dynamique TCe 90 with a 0.9-litre 90 hp three-cylinder turbocharged unit. Dynamique models have Renault’s Stop & Start system, which cuts the engine when the car is stationary in traffic to reduce emissions and improve economy.

Renault will build the All-New Twingo and Daimler’s Smart forfour at its Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia, where more than £350 million has been spent on upgrading the facilities.

The new Twingo is covered by a four-year warranty which offers unlimited-mileage cover in the first two years and then two further years of protection up to 100,000 miles.
