Tracker, part of the Tantalum Corporation, has forged a new partnership with Halfords to offer Tracker Vision Sprint.

Combining navigation and fleet tracking capabilities, Tracker Vision Sprint requires no installation, which the company says makes it perfect for sole traders, logistics companies and fleet and grey fleet managers wanting to minimise vehicle downtime and deploy resources more efficiently.

Tracker Vision Sprint is a ‘plug and play’ device which can be activated immediately, eliminating the need for installation and the associated costs.

In addition to in-cab navigation, customers get secure access to the Tracker Fleet website, allowing them to monitor their assets in real-time.

Users can also view maps and schedule detailed reports on the go, as it’s compatible with all web-browsing devices, including tablets and smartphones.

Tracker Vision Sprint will be available to buy on the Halfords website.

Halfords in-car technology manager, Robert Carsley, said: “We’re constantly searching for new ways to help our customers with all of their motoring needs.

“Tracker Vision Sprint offers our customers the latest telematics technology with the convenience of a plug and play device. This partnership is part of our focus on expanding our range of products and services to meet the needs of business customers, bringing them added value from a name they can trust.”

David Wilson, chief operating officer at Tracker, added: “Tracker Vision Sprint is ideal for businesses that want zero installation costs or downtime.

“By working closely with Halfords, we are benefiting from the power of the high street brand, opening up another route to market for our fleet products.

“We are looking forward to exploring other ways in which Tracker and Halfords can work together in the future, helping businesses get the most from their fleet and control their costs.”
