Rail, power generation and power transmission specialist Alstom has signed a contract with FMG to provide fully-outsourced incident management and legal services to its UK fleet of 600 vehicles.

FMG’s service will include a round-the-clock first notification of loss solution tailored specifically for Alstom, UK-wide repair management and an uninsured loss recovery service.

A bespoke online dashboard will provide Alstom with real-time transparent progress updates and intelligent aggregation of fleet data.

Janice Lomax, country commodity leader at Alstom, said:  “Downtime management and cost reduction are high on our fleet agenda so we were looking for the right solution for our needs and believe that FMG has the right experience and flexibility to achieve that.”
