Venson Automotive Solutions has moved its vehicle fit-out services to a new, purpose-built workshop in Hessay, Yorkshire.

The state of the art premises allows Venson to adapt a broad range of fleet vehicles for local government, emergency services, charities and private sector organisations.

Heading up the new workshop is newly appointed workshop manager, Mark Butcher, working alongside, Mark Acomb, as business development manager.

The new facility will provide a range of services from equipping commercial vehicles for industries, such as housing associations and utilities companies, to more complex conversions to support the requirements of blue light fleets. Venson is an approved provider of conversions under the Vehicle Certification Agency’s N1 Enhancement scheme, an integral element of EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval.

Butcher will be responsible for the day to day operation of the workshop. Mark Acomb has been promoted from Workshop Manager to Business Development Manager. He brings a wealth of experience having already spent over 15 years working at Venson, and prior to this at Powermarque and Anglian Water. This knowledge will be utilised to create new business opportunities.

“This investment is an integral part of Venson’s commitment to providing clients with an end to end service, from sourcing and funding vehicles to fitting them out ready for active duty,” explains Samantha Roff, managing director for Venson Automotive Solutions.

“Mark Butcher and Mark Acomb have the experience we need to develop the specialist vehicle fit-out services we provide, as part of our overall business expansion plans.

“Utilising years of experience, Venson fits-out an extensive range of vehicles for variety of industries and the opening of this new facility ensures we will maintain our position as the leading supplier of fleet vehicle conversions. We have the capabilities to provide conversion solutions for more industries and businesses, no matter how large or small.”
