What is meant by running costs?

The running costs is the overall running costs of the fleet vehicle including SMR costs, depreciation and fuel costs. Over the course of the term whether your fleet runs a replacement cycle or your company has contract hire leasing agreements, the vehicles will be costing the company money, effective management of these costs can effectively save companies thousands of pounds every year.

A vehicle’s running costs can be impacted by a variety of different elements, from the co2 emission tax to the mpg the vehicle can achieve and the depreciation rate of the vehicle and all of these should be considered.
