Transport Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Leader in a busy yet inclusive transport department. Working on a 4 on 4 off basis, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of employees to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Dispatching and debriefing drivers

· Managing driver hours fairly

· Managing Infringements

· Planning drivers day to day

· Recording and management of vehicle defects

· Accident investigation

· Formal investigations and note taking

Skills:

· IT Literate with Microsoft Excel

· Experience with Transport Management software (ie mandata, Microlise, TruTac)

· Strong leadership skills

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

· Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions

· Previous experience in supervising or managing a team is preferred
