What You'll Do:
* Oversee daily transport activities, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
* Manage and maintain our fleet, ensuring all vehicles are safe, legal, and efficient.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and reduce costs.
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of drivers and logistics staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operation and excellent service delivery.
* Ensure compliance with transport policies, legislation, and regulations.
* Handle scheduling, route planning, and vehicle maintenance scheduling effectively.
* Manage budgets and prepare reports on transport activities, costs, and performance metrics.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in transport management, ideally within a logistics or distribution environment.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
* A good understanding of transport regulations, compliance, and fleet management.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
* A relevant qualification in logistics or transport management is desirable.
