Wilsons Auctions Portadown has announced a new fleet contract supplier in Skoda Contracts.
The Fleet remarketing programme was originally launched by Edmund Madine, general manager of Wilsons Auctions, he believes that it is down to the quality of vehicle on sale: “The motor trade throughout Ireland recognise that they can get guaranteed quality vehicles with Wilsons Auctions because of our relationships with fleet vendors. Skoda Contracts see that we attract the Irish motor trade to Portadown and have chosen us to sell their ex fleet vehicles in this market. The fleet remarketing programme at Wilsons Auctions is in huge demand as private buyers recognise the value these vehicles offer, which is attracting more motor traders to our Auctions as demand spirals.”
‘Fleet 2010’ auctions at Wilsons Auctions Portadown sell quality cars on behalf of manufacturers; fleet and finance partners and financial institutions including Peugeot, Lombard and many of the top 50 fleet companies in the U.K. market. The new Skoda Contracts relationship enables Wilsons Auctions to offer ex fleet Skoda vehicles to the motor trade in Ireland.
Paul Grimsley, national rental & used vehicle manager for Skoda commented: “We have chosen to work with Wilsons Auctions because they can deliver up to 80% conversion and 95% cap. Their services, processes and auctioneering are top class. Motor traders throughout Ireland continue to come to Wilsons Auction Portadown to buy their vehicles – as long as this is the case we will continue to work with them.”
