Interactive Fleet Management has been appointed by Integrated Cleaning Management (ICM) to run its fleet of 200 cars and vans.

ICM, which contract hires its vehicles under a non-maintenance agreement, chose Kettering-based Interactive Fleet Management after it was impressed with its approach to providing multi-supply contract hire on a competitive tendering basis.

“We get the best of both worlds using this approach,” said James Brodie, ICM’s fleet manager. “Interactive Fleet Management provides us and our drivers with all the advantages of sole supply, whilst our cost base is reduced by achieving the best contract hire rate each time we place an order. This offers us significant savings as there are some sizeable price differences in monthly rental in the current market.”

As part of the contract, Interactive Fleet Management is also managing the maintenance on a pay on use basis, as well as taking away the administrative burden of all fleet administration, including fuel card management, the issuing of driver packs, any parking or speeding fines plus liaising with all divisional managers to ensure drivers are selecting cars that fit within their choice criteria.
