Hitachi Capital Driving Instructor Centre has signed a contract to work with Kwik Fit for the provision of tyres, tyre servicing and worn tyre replacement services to vehicles in its customers’ car fleets.

Along with current provider ATS Euromaster, there are now two national companies partnering with Hitachi Capital, with the aim of reducing the time and distance customers have to travel for their tyres.

Candice Walters, general manager at the Driving Instructor Centre, said: “We pride ourselves in taking the time to listen to invaluable customer feedback, which helps us to shape our services to make them better.

“Some customers highlighted that the long distance to their nearest repair centre was an issue and requested alternatives.

“We identified Kwik Fit as a second partner due to the fact that it is a recognised and credible name with over 673 centres nationwide, with the imminent addition of the Stapletons network which will increase the number to 800 this year.

“Some of our customers had previously visited a Kwik Fit centre for a tyre replacement or repair assuming we were working with them already so it seemed like a natural supplier to partner with.”

The response since the service was rolled out across Hitachi Capital Driving Instructor Centre’s customers has been extremely positive.

Some customers faced a 20 mile journey to their nearest tyre supplier, which has now been eliminated in nearly all instances. Customers are also benefiting from Kwik Fit’s large stock levels meaning that repair time is also reduced.

“Acting on customer feedback has helped us to branch out in the automotive industry and create new partnerships with the aim of making our customers’ lives easier,” concluded Walters.
