Chevrolet has confirmed the choice of two trim levels and three engines for the manufacturers new small SUV.

The Trax, brother to the Vauxhall Mokka, measures 4,248 mm in length, and a wheelbase of 2,555 mm, there are total of eight seating combinations available offering maximum load space of 1,370 litres.

Pricing is yet to be announced however Chevrolet has confirmed the compact SUV won't be sold in America.

The UK engine line-up will include a 1.4L turbocharged petrol unit, a 1.6L petrol engine as well as a 1.7L turbo-diesel engine. The 1.4L turbo petrol engine is mated to an AWD system and cranks out 140 hp (103 kW), producing a maximum torque of 200 Nm. The AWD system is also available on the 1.7L diesel engine.

In the UK Trax will be available in two trim levels: LS and LT.
