National Windscreens has been named the preferred vehicle glass replacement and repair supplier in a new contract with ScottishPower.

ScottishPower operates a fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles across the UK so it’s imperative that all of its vehicles remain roadworthy. National Windscreens currently has 114 locations UK wide, including branches in eight Scottish cities, and has 41 mobile technicians in Scotland, providing service across the mainland, as well as outlying islands.

ScottishPower’s contract manager, Riki Livingstone, comments, “Customer confidence in our ability to deal with any issues swiftly plays a key role in our business - keeping our fleet of vehicles on the road at all times is essential. We need to be able to respond to all call-outs as quickly as possible – our contract with National Windscreens guarantees our fleet remains road-worthy and ready to respond.”

National Windscreens’ fleet sales manager, Graham Furneaux-Porter, says, “Our experience in this sector is invaluable for fleet operators managing a significant number of vehicles. ScottishPower’s business depends on its ability to maintain its network and provide excellent customer service, which is only possible with a fully functioning fleet. The contract with National Windscreens gives the company the security of knowing any vehicle windscreen issues won’t have a negative effect on its business!”
