Fiat is relaunching the Panda as a new 'family' of five distinct models.

Powered by petrol, electric and hybrid powertrains, the new line-up of Panda vehicles will span five models by 2027.

A compact SUV 'city car' will be the first model to break cover, in just a few months. It will be the natural replacement for the existing Panda. Fiat refers to it as the MegaPanda and says its larger than the current car.

Fiat demonstrated the Panda family with the unveiling of five concept models.

The new Panda line-up will also include a larger SUV, a fastback, a pick-up and a camper van.

All the models will utilise the same underpinnings, likely shared with the upcoming Citroen C3.
