ATS Euromaster has been re-awarded the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award, for its commitment to safer workplaces.

Paul Millward, Health and Safety Advisor, ATS Euromaster, has also been awarded the title of ‘Guardian Angel’ by RoSPA, for his personal commitment in ensuring safety across the business.

Safety is masterminded by Stan Rudowski, group head of health, safety and technical services,  who is one of just 200 people in Europe to hold European Occupational Safety and Health Manager (EurOSHM) accreditation.

Rudowski said: “Safe working is at the heart of everything we do. I’m delighted that our entire team’s hard work to ensure the very safest in working practices, learned from fifty years of experience across the business, maintains a work environment staffed by experts who deliver outstanding customer care.”

ATS Euromaster operates a ‘Safe by Choice’ programme, which encourages staff to make safety their personal choice. Millward’s individual award recognises the extent to which he has supported this award‐winning agenda, having been personally responsible for creating, developing, filming and even starring in two fire safety DVDs and a driver safety DVD in addition to his regular duties.

Rudowski added: “People such as Paul Millward are the reason we’ve been able to receive this award for a second year running. He has inspired the entire team and taken on safety responsibilities well beyond his official remit, but with the ethos of making safety a personal choice at the heart of everything he does.”

ATS Euromaster Group managing director Peter Allen concluded: “We set and achieve the highest standards of safety across the company, so it’s easy for customers to do business with a tyre specialist and be sure they are getting a quality, safe service.”
