Road safety charity Brake is holding a seminar on saving money through fleet risk management on Thursday, September 10, in central London.

The seminar, sponsored by BT Fleet, is aimed at any business or organisation with employees who drive for work.

Speakers at the event will examine the benefits of managing road risk, discuss techniques to help businesses gain the support and engagement of their board in prioritising fleet safety, and look at ways other businesses have successfully saved money through fleet risk management.

Ellie Pearson, senior professional engagement officer at Brake, said: “Managing fleet risk effectively should be a top priority for any organisation with at-work drivers.

"This low-cost seminar is an excellent opportunity for employers to find out how they can cut costs and improve safety and efficiency at the same time.

"I would urge any employer with at-work drivers to attend, as this seminar will provide valuable advice and information, regardless of your company size or vehicle type.”

Joe Fielder, sales and marketing director at BT Fleet, said: “Safety is paramount and it is crucial for fleet operators to do all they can to protect drivers, the public and their company.

"Partnering with a fleet risk management specialist can deliver significant results, in terms of keeping accidents to a minimum, driving organisational improvements and generating cost savings.

"Events like this are vital as they promote best practice and we are therefore delighted to support Brake on the upcoming seminar.”
