Data from the DVLA has revealed that Licence Bureau carried out 34% of all driving licence checks by independent providers in 2014/15.

This includes supplying driving licence checking and compliance for blue chip clients including EDF Energy and Severn Trent Water.

In the 12-year period since Licence Bureau became the first outlet to provide businesses a licence checking solution, more than 1.6 million checks have been carried out.

Licence Bureau will be showcasing its compliance managed services portal on stand P16 on its first visit to the re-branded Fleet Management Live, which takes place today and tomorrow, October 6 and 7. This follows their successful debut at Company Car in Action, where they served as official licence checking partner.

The online platform gives the user access to a wide range of licence checking and compliance tools, keeping tabs on a company’s fleet of drivers and highlights any potential risks or non-compliance issues. The CMS portal also provides an auditable Health and Safety trail, which enables companies to adhere to Duty of Care obligations.

Malcolm Maycock, managing director at Licence Bureau, said: “We are delighted to be exhibiting at Fleet Management Live, where we will demonstrate how we continue to push the boundaries in overall driver entitlement and licence checking and compliance. With many fleet HR and finance managers in attendance, it’s the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities to key decision makers.”
