BCA has opened a new de-fleet operation in Doncaster, specialising in pre-delivery inspection (PDI), in-life fleet management and end-of-life refurbishment.

BCA Doncaster offers de-fleet services serving both national and regional customers, with excellent links to major urban centres and a short distance from the key M1, M18 and M62 motorways.

The 12-acre centre enhances the company’s national network of refurbishment and auction centres and creates more capacity as volumes continue to rise in the used car market.

Phil Walker, regional manager at BCA Technical Services said: “The Doncaster operation will provide a full range of de-fleet and technical services to ensure these valuable assets are processed efficiently and effectively.  Highly trained technicians will ensure that brand values are protected by completing work to exacting manufacturer standards and ensuring vehicles are in the best possible condition when they enter the remarketing sector.”

“As the de-fleet process becomes more complex, due to an ever increasing range of specification and connected technologies, we have ensured that we continue to invest in training our technicians to the highest standard.”

The 12-acre site in Doncaster expects to handle around 9,000 vehicles a year and will support contracts with manufacturers and large fleets nationally.
