ServicePoint has saved businesses more than £500,000 in time and vehicle maintenance costs since its launch in April 2016.

More than 1,000 Allstar fuel card customers are already using ServicePoint, which enables fleet managers to directly book services, maintenance, and repair with their existing local garages and benefit from discounts on parts and labour.

It is free to use and offers an alternative to traditional tools like white boards or calendar reminders for managing service, maintenance and repair bookings.

Users can book maintenance or repair with a network of 9,000 approved garages, manage invoices and approve work with the garage directly.

“This service is also about providing convenience and control for busy managers with responsibility for company cars and vans,” Jo Stuart, product and marketing director at Allstar. “ As well as making financial savings, those using ServicePoint will also have saved time and gained peace of mind through access to a central vehicle booking and management system. This means they are not reliant on remembering which vehicles need servicing or maintenance and when, and they can keep working with the garages they have always used while benefitting from better control and bigger discounts.

“Through our pre-negotiated discounts on parts and labour we’re able to offer an average saving of 30%, so for a fleet of 15 vehicles that could mean savings of nearly £2,000 per year.”
