Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions has renewed its remarketing deal with Manheim for the next three years, which will see over 7,500 vehicles per year offered through physical and online auction channels.

Manheim has also agreed a new deal to supply its industry-leading Inspect and Collect solution to Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions from June, with its professionally-trained team members delivering a complete inspection, condition appraisal and vehicle collection service for Hitachi Capital’s customers.

Manheim handles 99% of Hitachi Capital’s vehicle disposals, including cars, vans and HGVs.

Hitachi Capital has operated in the contract hire and leasing sector for more than 30 years, supplying virtually every type of vehicle.

Manheim’s Inspect and Collect service includes a comprehensive and transparent damage capture and recharge process, which is critical for asset protection from a residual value perspective.

Manheim’s vehicle inspectors are now able to carry out gradings at the roadside, meaning that its clients receive more detailed vehicle condition information much earlier in the remarketing process.

For end users, Manheim’s Inspection Services team ensures that customer satisfaction is paramount for those having their end of contract vehicle collected, with the full service offering having been accredited by the Institute of Customer Service.
