Virtual reality (VR) training technology will be available for delegates to try at Fleet Live, the unmissable event for fleet decision makers.
Anglian Water has been working with EDG-VR to develop bespoke training packages in areas such as safe driving, safe excavations, and working at height and customer service.
The technology can also provide real-time feedback to each participant in order to assess progress and identify future training requirements.
Attendees can try the VR headset in The Future Zone on November 9-10.
Fleet Live is expected to hold over 2,000 delegates of all levels of fleet involvement under one roof, with four distinct theatres providing valuable insight, and The Future Zone featuring Mobility, Technology and Low & Zero-Emission hubs.
The portable VR system is easy to transport and can support up to 35 users per session, engaging participants with 360o photos, videos, CGI features and interactive platforms.
Other partners in the EDG-VR programme include major fleets such as Clancy Docwra, Kier, Morrisons, Barhale and the One Alliance.
