Automotive retailer Lookers has appointed Tony Dray as its new fleet and commercial director.

Sitting on the operations board, Dray will report directly to Lookers’ managing director, Nigel McMinn.

Dray was previously fleet and commercial director at Trust Ford, heading up its nine fleet centres and 14 commercial centres.

He said: “After 30 years with the same company, building something I became very proud of, it needed to be a truly fantastic opportunity to have enticed me away. Lookers was that opportunity.”

The company has also appointed Dan Middleton and David Chilvers as national account directors and Liz Williams as customer service director within the same division.

Other key appointments include Chris Pritchard as Ford CV manager and Andrew McGinnis and Simon Preston as fleet national account managers.

Commenting on the appointments, McMinn said: “Our continued investment within the fleet market is part of our growth strategy and I am thrilled that Tony has joined Lookers. Fleet success is built around great people, process and the service levels we offer. I now have every confidence we have the best team possible to take our Fleet division to the next level.”
