Citroen has introduced a new entry-level version of its electric e-C4 model, which is priced from £28,495 on-the-road.
The e-C4 was introduced following demand for a variant at a more accessible price point. The e-C4 range used to start at £30,895.
Sense models come equipped with LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, power folding mirrors, rear parking sensors and Keyless Entry. There’s also a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
Another addition to e-C4 range is the Shine Edition. This replaces the outgoing Shine trim level with a reduced price of £30,495. Shine Edition includes a head-up display, Active Cruise Control, Active Blind Spot Detection and the Safety Plus Pack, which includes Extended Traffic Sign Recognition and Active Safety Brake with night-time and cyclist detection.
Shine Edition models also feature front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera, heated steering wheel and a two-position boot floor.
Range topping Shine Plus trim remains in place, priced at £34,995. It comes with wireless smartphone charging, a HiFi speaker system with subwoofer, heated front seats and leather and leather-effect textile seats.
The latest changes to the e-C4 line-up follow those introduced in October 2021, which boosted the car’s range by 18 miles to 217 miles (WLTP).
