Renault's large SUV uses the same name as a previous 4x4 model, Koleos, but it is different in every respect and aims to take on cars such as the Ford Edge, Hyundai Santa Fe and Skoda Kodiaq.
Under the skin much of the drivetrain is shared with the Nissan X-Trail and the 1.6-litre 130PS dCi engine has been carried over along with the new 2.0-litre 177PS unit, with 4WD optional on both.
Only two trims are available, Dynamique S and Signature, putting the Koleos closer to the premium SUV market.
