Transport Manager

We're seeking a reliable Logistics/Transport Manager for a site in PE15. As part of the Senior Management team, you'll oversee transporting Chilled & Frozen goods for various customers. Your main focus will be leading and managing the transport operation efficiently.

You'll need to handle change effectively and have a Transport Managers CPC. Experience in disciplinary matters, using Mandata TMS, Fleet Management, and understanding temperature control is beneficial. Managing groupage and Multi Depot Operations, as well as building strong relationships, are essential.

You'll be responsible for day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring compliance with our Operators Licence and maintaining service levels. Motivating and coaching the team, fostering a positive business culture, and meeting customer KPIs are key aspects of the role. Safety is a priority, so you'll need to uphold H&S targets and communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers.

You may need to travel to other sites occasionally.
