Transport Manager

Time Appointments are delighted to be working with one of Suffolk’s leading road hauliers, a family-owned business, that are looking for a Transport Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience of running a General Haulage Fleet to come in and work with a forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the scheduling and dispatching a fleet of HGVs on a daily basis.
· Support a team of HGV drivers in line with Company values.
· Develop the customer base to increase weekly vehicle revenue.
· Track the performance and profitability of operations against financial targets.
· Promote the Company services and be a brand ambassador.
· Ensure vehicle revenues and customer service levels are maintained.
· Safety, health and compliance (Driver hours, WTD).

Experience and Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role.
· Proven track record in commercial operations, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment
· Knowledge of pallet networks and/or general distribution.
· Transport Management CPC.
