Still time to book for final Roadshow

LAST-minute bookings for the final 1997 Fleet News Roadshow can still be made. The first Fleet News Roadshow was held on Tuesday (December 2) at Sopwell House, St Albans and the second Roadshow is at The Donington Thistle Hotel, East Midlands Airport next Tuesday (December 9).

Places can be reserved by faxing Roadshow organiser David Penford on 01664 410492. Bookings close at 5pm on Friday. Tickets and further details on the event will then be distributed through a fax-back service. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend 75-minute seminars delivered by industry experts from accountant Deloitte & Touche, Shell Fuel and Fleet Services and Swan National. The Institute of Advanced Motorists will be demonstrating its CD-ROM-based driver training package.

There's also a Vauxhall-sponsored helpdesk at which delegates will be able to have their fleet questions answered by a range of industry experts, including representatives of HM Customs & Excise, Vauxhall Master Hire, the Association of Car Fleet Operators and the Institute of Car Fleet Management. Delegates will also be able to find out more about cfo (car finance options) - a new product from Fleet News, developed in association with CAP Motor Research and Deloitte & Touche, which helps employees and employers answer the cash or car equation. To attend costs £99, plus VAT, per person, but ICFM members can obtain a 10% discount.
