Paperless fleet trading a reality soon

PAPERLESS trading via the internet looks set to be a reality for the fleet industry within the next few years, according to major players. A consortium of leasing companies, including Dial Contracts, Cowie Interleasing and BCH Vehicle Management Services, have signed up to the new Fleet Web service from Smart Choice which offers Internet-based electronic transactions.

Smart Choice has been given 'temporary approval' by HM Customs & Excise to trade over the worldwide web. Trials are due to begin soon and member companies are keen to see what opportunities will arise. Smart Choice is holding a presentation on Fleet Web at the King's Arms Hotel in Stokenchurch on Wednesday, July 2. Places are limited, but further details are available by calling Smart Choice on 01491 613271.
