VAUXHALL's leasing operation MasterHire has rebranded as part of a review by parent company General Motors. From next week, the business will be known as Vauxhall Leasing.

The company is targeting growth of about 40% this year, based upon the launch of new Vauxhall models including Meriva, Signum and new Vectra estate. It operates a fleet of about 20,000 cars and vans on behalf of 4,500 fleet and business customers and is based at Leamington Spa.

Vauxhall Leasing managing director Robert Kingdom said the rebranding would help bring a fresh impetus to Vauxhall's leasing business. He said: 'We believe that Vauxhall Leasing as a new name brings greater clarity and reflects our business more accurately.'
