HALF of drivers polled in a recent survey would take action if their motoring costs such as fuel increased by £50 a month.
This would include trying to reduce their switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle, driving less or using public transport. Findings from LeasePlan also showed that 72% of motorists rank the cost of motoring as a deciding factor when purchasing a new car.
