Prestige sat-nav

GUY Salmon has announced plans to fit its prestige rental fleet with the satellite navigation system Smartnav.

Smartnav systems connect the driver to an operator who finds the destination and logs it on to a central computer. The information is then downloaded to the car.

Each system also includes SafeSpeed which is an integrated system warning drivers of zones monitored by speed cameras.

Andy Crinson, general manager at Guy Salmon, said: ‘We are bringing customers the latest in-car technology both to improve the performance of the car and really make that experience hassle-free.’
