Longbridge gears up for MG production

Production of the new MG TF LE500 will begin at the brand’s revitalised Longbridge home in August.

The first cars from the plant will go on sale in September. MG designers are also working on plans for new MG models, following the marque’s revival by Nanjing Automobile Corporation (NAC) in 2005.

NAC MG UK has a new chairman – He Xiao Qing replaces Wang Hong Biao, who has led the MG board since 2005.
