Citroën’s range of superminis is getting a makeover in time for the summer.

A variety of new features and trim upgrades are planned.

The whole C2 range will get a facelift, featuring a new grille and front bumper, while the trim levels have been simplified to four – Vibe, Rhythm, VTR and VTS.

Citroen’s Stop & Start engine feature is now standard in Rhythm trim, while the VTR and VTS models now have the option of heated front leather seats.

The C3 range has also been streamlined, with three trim levels now available – Vibe, Rhythm and Exclusive.

New equipment in the Rhythm model includes Stop & Start technology, air conditioning and automatic wipers and headlights.

Citroen has also made its 1.6-litre HDi diesel engine available in Rhythm trim.

The C3 Pluriel has a new interior and a facelifted exterior with new front and rear headlights.

There is also an expanded engine choice and a new paint colour available.

Prices start at £8,795 for the C2, £9,695 for the C3 and £13,295 for the C3 Pluriel.
