JBW Group has selected Haulmont Technology to develop and implement a new Enforcement Control System that will automate business processes and optimise fleet management and case allocation across all bailiff operations.

The new system will be based on Haulmont’s Open Source CUBA Platform and will feature automated real time fleet management, dynamic task allocation, routing and scheduling for JBW’s fleet of around 80 bailiffs and several ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) vans.

Communication with bailiffs will be handled by a custom-designed Android app to enable full and accurate exchange of case and visit data between mobile devices and back-office systems, even in areas with poor signal coverage. The system will also feature a fully integrated GPS tracking and alert system to improve bailiff management and provide a full audit trail for handling customer queries.

Jamie Waller, JBW group managing director said;
“This new system will play an important role in JBW’s plans for aggressive growth over the next few years. We expect to see real benefits in terms of productivity, efficiency and most importantly, customer service.

“JBW has always looked for innovative ways to improve the provision of debt collection in the UK and we believe that working with Haulmont Technology will enable us to change the way enforcement services are viewed and raise the standard of the industry as a whole.”

Alistair Laycock, director for Haulmont Technology added;
“Haulmont’s experience as software developer for Addison Lee proves that investing in technology can deliver huge growth and elevate a company to become an award-winning leader in its sector. Having helped Addison Lee revolutionise minicabs and corporate travel, we’re looking forward to supporting JBW’s plans to bring real change to the bailiff industry.”
