Hyundai reported much interest in its new line-up, with the i30 hatchback appearing at CCIA for the first time, and the first opportunity to drive the new i30 Tourer.

National fleet sale manager Martin Wilson said: “We’ve had a great response to our new vehicles, including the new i30 and the Veloster coupé, which is also new this year.

“We’ve seen a selection of companies that we already have relationships with as well as some that want to find out more about our products and what we offer.

“We are now in a position where, thanks to the latest generation of products, people have heard about the brand and are interested in what we can do.”
He said some of the contacts made at Company Car in Action included larger organisations with substantial fleets.

Another coup for Hyundai, which wasn’t quite ready to appear at CCIA, is the revised i20 range which now includes the lowest-CO2-emitting conventional powered car on sale in the UK.

The latest version is available with a 1.1-litre diesel that produces 84g/km – 1g/km lower than the Kia Rio using the same engine.
