Liam Cresswell has joined the Arval UK Corporate Sales Division as a sales manager.

He takes up this new role having gained significant experience within the commercial vehicle enhancement industry where he worked for Bott and Bri-Stor, the two major players in this market.

During this time, he provided consultative support to customers, working closely with them to develop a detailed understanding of their vehicle fleet and getting to the bottom of what really mattered for them.

In particular this meant helping them to reduce whole life costs, improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining Arval at what is an exciting time for the business with a clear focus on growth and service quality.

“Having worked with Arval in the past, I have always been impressed by the integrity and passion of their employees and their approach to managing complex LCV fleets.

“I believe that my experience will bring value to our customers in developing and strengthening what is already a really strong customer offer.”

Leasing more than 26,000 LCV’s in the UK alone, and an established member of the Freight Transport Association’s Van Excellence Programme, Cresswell’s appointment further enhances the LCV expertise that Arval has built up over a number of years.

Mike Curtis, corporate sales director at Arval, said: “With his extensive LCV knowledge, Liam is a great addition to our sales team.

“The growth that we have seen in our van fleet in recent years is testament to the products, expertise and support that we provide to our customers. Liam’s expertise in van related technology, legislation and good practises can only enhance this.”
