Cenex will be hosting a three-day residential programme for fleet managers from December 9 to 11, 2014 in Loughborough.

The course is open to all professionals across the EU who have responsibility for transport, vehicles, travel and logistics from either the public or private sector.

The three-day course will incorporate interactive workshops, experiential learning and expert seminars. There will also be a half day opportunity to test drive a range of ultralow emission vehicles from Tesla, Nissan and Mitsubishi at Formula E Head Quarters, Donington Park.

The course fee is €400 and includes workshop activities, accommodation, refreshments and meals at the four star Burleigh Court Hotel. Participants must pay their own travel costs. Financial support is available for candidates who cannot afford the course fee.

“We hope that the course will provide each attendee with the knowledge and skills needed to deliver carbon and cost savings in their organisation,” said Keith Budden, head of business development at Cenex.

“If the EU and UK are going to hit our carbon saving targets, it is imperative that decision makers have the right knowledge of regulation, technology and infrastructure to enable their businesses to remain competitive.”

Anyone who is interested in attending the course is encouraged to email: learning@cenex.co.uk. The course is part funded by the European Union’s Climate Knowledge Innovation Community Climate-KIC.

The deadline for applications is November 10, 2014. Application forms should be downloaded here and forwarded to learning@cenex.co.uk.
