Alphabet named ‘Top Employer’

Alphabet has been awarded the ‘Top Employers United Kingdom Midsized 2014’ certification by The Top Employers Institute, which globally certifies excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people.

It follows 12 months of service innovation, training investment and the expansion of Alphabet’s customer care department.

The Top Employers Institute assessed Alphabet’s employee offerings on the following criteria: primary benefits; secondary benefits and working conditions; training and development; career development; and culture management.

Eleanor Nickerson, manager of UK operations for Top Employers Institute, said: “Many of our certified companies have developed creative and inclusive leadership programmes that help to develop their top talent and ensure that it’s a win-win situation – you have engaged employees who have an exciting and rewarding career path ahead of them, and organisations with talented, long-term leadership that’s aligned with their business.”

Adam Lupton, HR director at Alphabet, said: “We’re delighted to have been named as one of Britain’s top employers for 2014.

“The accolade reflects our ongoing commitment to employee development and fostering a culture in which our employees can thrive.

"We invest in our employees and, in return, our customers benefit from their passion to deliver great customer service.

“This ongoing success not only cements Alphabet’s position as one of Europe’s leading mobility specialists but also reflects our continued commitment to developing innovative services and providing development opportunities for employees at our two offices.”
